A razor-bright beam of sunlight cuts through the gap in the bedroom blackout curtains, and the world beyond the window is almost painfully bright. The light spilling through the curtains is nothing like the sunset glow from the first day. It washes white across the floor, while the sky beyond the glass is an unnaturally deep blue with not a single cloud in sight.

주인공은 이미 일어난 듯 침대가 비어있다. 이불도 개어져있지 않다. 잠시 뒤 주인공이 보인다.The bed is empty, as if the protagonist has already gotten up. The blankets are still unmade. A moment later, the protagonist comes into view.

현관문이 열리자 뜨거운 공기가 밀려 들어왔다. 바깥은 여름 한복판이다. 아스팔트 위에서는 열기 때문에 아지랑이가 올라온다. 길가의 나무와 풀들은 거의 움직이지 않았다. 바람이 없었다.The moment the front door opens, hot air pushes inside. Outside is the dead center of summer. Heat haze ripples above the asphalt. The trees and grass along the street barely move. There is no wind.

배달오토바이가 지나가고, 어딘가에서 에어컨 실외가 소리가 낮게 울렸다. 지나가던 남자가 손으로 햇빛을 가리며 말했다.A delivery scooter passes. Somewhere nearby, an air-conditioner condenser hums low. A man walking past shields his eyes from the sun with one hand and speaks.

옆에 있던 여자가 하늘을 올려다봤다.The woman beside him looks up at the sky.

주인공은 잠시 멈춰 하늘을 올려다봤다. 새파란 하늘, 구름 한 점 없는 뻥 뚫린 하늘이 왠지 모르게 계속 쳐다보게 만든다.The protagonist stops for a moment and looks up. The sky is a hard, vivid blue, completely open and cloudless. For some reason, it is difficult to look away.

자동문이 열리자 차가운 냉기가 얼굴에 닿는다. 편의점 안은 조용했다. 냉장고 돌아가는 소리, 전자레인지 알림음, 계산대 근처 작은 라디오 소리가 섞여 있었다. 라디오에서는 태풍 이야기가 나오고 있었다.The automatic doors open and cold air hits the protagonist's face. The store is quiet. The hum of refrigerators mixes with a microwave chime and a small radio near the counter. The radio is talking about the typhoon.

주인공은 편의점 창밖을 본다. 여전히 하늘은 맑다.The protagonist looks out through the convenience-store window. The sky is still clear.

삼각김밥 하나, 곽에 들어있는 달콤한 쥬스 한 곽.One triangular rice ball and a carton of sweet juice.

주인공은 편의점을 나왔다.The protagonist leaves the store.

주인공은 잠시 그늘에 섰다. 나무 아래 벤치에는 노인이 부채질을 하고 있었고.The protagonist stands in the shade for a moment. On a bench beneath a tree, an elderly man fans himself.

아이들이 분수대 근처에서 뛰어다녔다.Children run around near the fountain.

물줄기는 낮게 솟아올랐다가 햇빛을 받아 반짝이며 떨어진다.Jets of water rise low from the ground, glitter in the sunlight, and fall back down.

멀리서 지하철이 지나가는 소리가 희미하게 들린다.The faint sound of a subway train passes somewhere in the distance.

주인공은 메신저 알림을 듣고 바로 핸드폰을 확인한다.The protagonist hears a messenger notification and immediately checks the phone.

주인공은 답하지 않고 조용히 하늘을 올려다본다. 푸른 하늘, 강한 햇빛, 평화로운 사람들. 하늘을 감상하던 와중 지우가 말한다.The protagonist says nothing and quietly looks up at the sky. Blue overhead, harsh sunlight, people going about a peaceful day. As the protagonist keeps watching, Jiwoo speaks again.

플레이어는 뉴스를 계속 시청하거나 잠을 잘 수 있습니다.The player may keep watching the news or go to sleep.

화면 하단에 자막이 뜬다. 주인공은 손을 멈추고 TV를 바라본다.A headline appears along the bottom of the screen. The protagonist stops what they are doing and looks at the TV.

화면에는 일본을 관통해 한반도로 북상하는 태풍 예상 진로가 나타난다. 뉴스 속 태풍의 예상 경로는 지우가 그어준 예상 진로선과 매우 흡사해 보인다.The screen shows the forecast track crossing Japan and moving north toward the Korean Peninsula. The path on the news looks strikingly similar to the line Jiwoo drew earlier.

앵커가 잠시 원고를 내려다본다.The anchor glances down at the script for a moment.

주인공은 창가로 갔다. 창밖은 어두웠고 바람 하나 불지 않는다. 창문도, 커튼도 움직이지 않는다.The protagonist walks to the window. Outside is dark, and not a breath of wind moves. Neither the window nor the curtains stir.
